On behalf of the staff of St Joseph’s ward and Mercy University Hospital I wish to thank you for assisting us with the recent transfer of a service user to their new domicile.
What was most impressive to us was the high level of patient focus, getting to know the patient and their needs prior to the journey. Also the fact that it could be organised at a weekend to happen early the following Tuesday.
Both yourself and the nursing team came across to us as committed to the patient’s needs and to give the best service possible. This has been achieved and thank you to M for informing me of this after they had arrived and settled the patient. This service user was with us for some time and the ward staff were pleased to hear that this was the case.
